Gerald J. Ford reports 26.7% stake in Hilltop Holdings

Charlotte, N.C., Sept. 26 - A group of Hilltop Holdings, Inc. investors led by Gerald J. Ford and ARC Diamond, LP bought 5,626,460 shares for a total of $54.86 million, or $9.75 per share, on Sept. 25 using working capital.

The investors beneficially own 15,048,102 shares, or 26.7%, of Hilltop Holdings, according to a schedule 13D filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Hilltop Holdings, through its subsidiary, NLASCO, Inc., operates as a property and casualty insurance company in the United States. The company is based in Dallas.
