By Christine Van Dusen

Atlanta, July 30 - Mexico's America Movil SAB de CV is planning a tap of its existing 3 1/8% notes due 2022 and 4 3/8% notes due 2042, a market source said.

Citigroup and Morgan Stanley are the bookrunners for the new notes.

The original $2 billion issue - which priced on July 9 - included $1.25 billion 3 1/8% bonds due 2022 that came to the market at 99.49 to yield 3.185%, or Treasuries plus 168 basis points.

A $750 million tranche of 4 3/8% bonds due 2042 priced at 99.244 to yield 4.482%, or 188 bps over Treasuries.

Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley were the bookrunners for the original Securities and Exchange Commission-registered deal.

Proceeds will be used to repay debt.

America Movil is a Mexico City-based telecommunications company.
