Moody's rates America Movil notes A2

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned A2 ratings to America Movil SAB de CV's €1 billion 4.125% euro notes due 2019 and £500 million 5% notes due 2026.

Both notes are senior unsecured debt obligations. The proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

The outlook is stable.

The ratings are strongly positioned in its rating category and supported by the company's status as Mexico's largest wireless operator with market share of about 70%, Moody's said.

The ratings also are supported by its strong annual operating cash flow of more than $15 billion, the agency said.

The agency said it anticipates that America Movil will continue to post stable operating results, both on a consolidated basis and in Brazil, an increasingly major market for its services in the region.
