New Issue: Mexico's America Movil sells upsized $1 billion 30-year bonds to yield 6.40%

New York, Feb. 17 - America Movil SA de CV priced an upsized $1 billion of 30-year 6 3/8% bonds (A3/BBB) at 99.667 to yield 6.40%, or 184 basis points over Treasuries, according to a market source.

The size of the deal was increased from $500 million.

Credit Suisse First Boston managed the sale.

The issuer, based in Mexico City, is Latin America's biggest mobile-telephone company. It is controlled by billionaire Carlos Slim.
