Moody's rates America Movil certificados bursátiles A3/Aaa.mx

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned A3 global ratings and Moody's de Mexico assigned Aaa.mx national-scale ratings to America Movil's proposed new certificados bursátiles as follows:

• Up to Ps. 6 billion with a floating interest rate up to five years: A3/Aaa.mx;

• Up to Ps. 7 billion with a fixed interest rate up to 10 years: A3/Aaa.mx; and

• Up to Ps. 2 billion at UDIS up to 15 years: A3/Aaa.mx.

The outlook on the A3 global ratings is positive whereas the outlook on the Aaa.mx national-scale ratings is stable, the agency said.

According to the agency, America Movil's ratings (A3 global issuer rating, positive outlook, and Aaa.mx long-term and MX-1 short-term national-scale ratings, stable outlook) are supported by the company's status as Mexico's largest wireless operator with market share of about 72%.
