S&P ups Highmark view to stable

Standard & Poor's said it revised the outlook on Highmark Inc. to stable from negative, and affirmed its A financial strength rating on the company.

Highmark's credit profile is better protected from its key business risks as compared to last year, S&P said.

Although key business risks have not gone away, Highmark has generated significantly stronger earnings in 2010 than originally expected, the agency said.
