Highland alters 22 portfolio names due to adviser name change to Pyxis

By Toni Weeks

San Diego, Jan. 9 - The boards of trustees of Highland Funds I and Highland Funds II announced name changes for all investment portfolios in both trusts, according to a form 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The name changes, which are effective Jan. 9, are connected with the adviser's name change to Pyxis Capital, LP from Highland Funds Asset Management, LP. Consequently, "Highland" will be dropped from each portfolio name, with "Pyxis" added in its place.

The name change affects the three portfolios that fall under Highland Funds I and the 18 portfolios that fall under Highland Funds II. In addition, the Highland Credit Strategies Fund will change its name in the same manner, according to a press release.

The filing also noted that the subadviser of the Pyxis Trend Following Fund, formerly the Highland Trend Following Fund, has changed its name to Incline Analytics, LLC from Incline Capital, LLC.

There will be no changes to the portfolio management of the funds associated with the name changes.

Pyxis Capital is based in Dallas.
