Highland Copper negotiates C$3.89 million private placement of stock

Non-brokered offering sells 25,948,681 common shares at C$0.15 apiece

Knoxville, Tenn., Oct. 5 – Highland Copper Co. Inc. said it has arranged a C$3,892,302 non-brokered private placement of stock with Osisko Gold Royalties Ltd.

The company will sell 25,948,681 common shares at C$0.15 each. The price per share is identical to the Oct. 2 closing share price.

Proceeds will be used to complete the acquisition of White Pine, for development of the company’s projects in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and for general corporate purposes.

The copper explorer is based in Longueuil, Quebec.
