Highland to invest in loans, CLO debt for Texas retirement system

Tacoma, Wash., Oct. 8 - Highland Capital Management will make a $250 million investment in senior secured bank loans and collateralized loan obligations on behalf of the Texas Municipal Retirement System, according to a news release from Highland.
The mandate is subject to successful contract negotiations.
Highland is an investment adviser based in Dallas.
