Hidroelectrica Piedra del Aguila extends $200 million fixed-rate notes subscription deadline to July 3

Pittsburgh, June 29 - Hidroelectrica Piedra del Aguila SA extended the deadline to subscribe to its $200 million issue of fixed-rate notes due 2017 to July 3 from June 29, according to a company news release.

As previously reported, the notes are being issued under the company's $500 million notes program.

The minimum subscription amount is $2,000, and notes can be purchased in increments of $1,000.

Standard & Poor's International Ratings LLC (Sucursal Argentina) has rated the notes raA- on a local scale and B on the global scale.

Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Inc. is the international placement agent, and Merrill Lynch Argentina SA is the placement agent in Argentina.

The issuer is an Argentine electric company.
