hhgregg reports $20.58 million operating loss for month ended March 31

Pittsburgh, May 4 – hhgregg, Inc. reported a $20.58 million operating loss for March on $93.41 million in net sales, according to its monthly operating report filed Thursday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The net loss for the month was $20.94 million.

In addition, hhgregg had $1.7 million in cash as of March 31.

hhgregg is an Indianapolis-based specialty retailer of consumer electronics and home appliances. The company filed bankruptcy on March 6 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Indiana under Chapter 11 case number 17-01302.
