Three hhgregg debtors post operating results for month ended April 30

Pittsburgh, June 1 – hhgregg, Inc. reported zero operating income, net sales and net income for April, the same as in March, according to its monthly operating report filed Monday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

In addition, the company had no cash in April or March.

The Gregg Appliances Inc. debtor saw a $267,000 operating loss for April on zero net sales. The operating loss for March was $432,000, also on zero net sales.

Gregg Appliances posted a $264,000 net loss for April, narrowing from a $431,000 March net loss.

Also, Gregg Appliances listed $4.69 million in cash as of April 30, down from $4.9 million at the end of March.

Meanwhile, the HHG Distributing LLC debtor also showed no operating income, net income, sales or cash for April or March.

hhgregg is an Indianapolis-based specialty retailer of consumer electronics and home appliances. The company filed for bankruptcy on March 6, 2017 under Chapter 11 case number 17-01302.
