Moody's alters Hexcel view to stable

Moody's Investors Service said it affirmed its ratings for Hexcel Corp., including the company's Baa3 senior unsecured debt rating and changed the outlook to stable from negative.

"The affirmation and stable outlook reflect Moody's expectations for Hexcel to substantially strengthen its credit metrics over the next few years," said, Eoin Roche, Moody's lead analyst for Hexcel, in a press release.

"We expect growing production rates in commercial aerospace markets to drive meaningful earnings growth. This will result in a restoration of investment grade-like metrics by the end of 2022, with a continued strengthening of metrics thereafter," added Roche.
