Ameren Illinois to sell add-on to 4.15% secured notes due 2046

Knoxville, Tenn., Nov. 29 – Ameren Illinois Co. intends to price an add-on to its 4.15% senior secured notes due 2046, according to a 424B3 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Tuesday.

The notes have a make-whole call until Sept. 15, 2045 and then a par call.

BofA Merrill Lynch, Mizuho Securities USA Inc., Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, SunTrust Robinson Humphrey Inc. and TD Securities (USA) LLC are the bookrunners. Goldman Sachs & Co., KeyBanc Capital Markets Inc., SMBC Nikko, Drexel Hamilton and Williams Capital Group LP are the co-managers.

Proceeds will be used to repay short-term debt.

Ameren Illinois originally issued $250 million of the 4.15% notes on Dec. 14, 2015. The new notes will be fully fungible with the original notes.

Ameren Illinois is a subsidiary of St. Louis-based electric and natural gas company Ameren Corp.
