Moody's: Hewlett-Packard unchanged

Moody's Investors Service said it said the ratings and outlook for Hewlett-Packard Co. are not affected by news that its chairman and CEO, Mark Hurd, resigned.

The current ratings include an A2 senior unsecured rating and prime-1 short-term commercial paper rating.

The outlook is stable.

While the board searches - both internally and externally - for a permanent replacement, it has appointed the current CFO, Cathie Lesjak, as interim CEO, but she doesn't want to hold the post permanently, Moody's said.
