New York, April 4 - Ameren Corp. priced $337 million of 10-year senior secured notes in a private sale, the company said in a statement released Friday.
The 6.25% Rule 144A notes were sold to institutional investors.
The offering is expected to close April 8.
Proceeds from the sale will be used to repay $334 million of the company's outstanding debt.
St. Louis-based Ameren provides electric and natural gas to customers in Missouri and Illinois.
