By Caroline Salls

Pittsburgh, Nov. 5 – Hereford Biofuels, LP’s bankruptcy case has been fully administered, according to a report filed Tuesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas by Chapter 7 trustee Daniel J. Sherman.

Sherman said $7.56 million was received from liquidation of estate property. Of that amount, $977,104 was paid to priority claimants, $141,436 went toward fees and charges, and $6.45 million was paid to general unsecured creditors.

The Chapter 7 trustee asked the court to discharge him from his duties.

Dallas-based Panda Ethanol develops ethanol fuel plants. Its Hereford subsidiaries filed bankruptcy on Jan. 29, 2009. Their Chapter 11 cases are being administered under case number 09-30453.
