Amedia Networks receives extension on maturity of $1.61 million in notes

New York, April 20 - Amedia Networks, Inc. said it has been granted an extension on the maturity of $1.61 million in promissory notes issued in December 2005 and January 2006.

The notes will now mature on May 21, moved up from April 21.

For the extension, investors Double U Master Fund, LP and Harborview Special Situations Ltd. will receive warrants for 150,000 shares, exercisable at $1.50 each for five years.

Based in Holmdel, N.J., Amedia develops technology-based broadband access products for voice, video and data services.
