Hellenic Telecommunications buys back €50.40 million 7¼% notes

New York, Dec. 19 – Hellenic Telecommunications Organization SA said it repurchased €50,395,000 of its 7¼% senior notes due 2015 via its subsidiary OTE plc.

Following the buybacks, the company has €432,354,000 of the bonds outstanding.

Hellenic Telecommunications, also known as OTE SA, is an Athens, Greece-based provider of telecommunications, television and mobile services in Greece and Romania and mobile services in Albania.
