Heating Oil Partners posts $7.04 million November operating loss

Pittsburgh, Feb. 3 - Heating Oil Partners, LP reported a $7.04 million operating loss for November on net sales of $50.26 million, according to its monthly operating report filed Thursday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Connecticut.

In October, the company posted a $15.88 million operating loss on net sales of $42.69 million.

The net loss for November was $8.46 million, down from a $17.01 million October net loss.

Cash and cash equivalents at Nov. 30 were $1.81 million, down from $2.49 million at the end of October.

Heating Oil Partners filed for Chapter 11 on Sept. 26. Its case number is 05-51271.

The residential heating oil distributor, the operating subsidiary of Toronto-based Heating Oil Partners Income Fund, also has filed in Canada under the Companies' Creditors Arrangement Act.
