Heartland Publications records profit of $587,883 for reporting period

Charlotte, N.C., Feb. 23 - Heartland Publications, LLC reported net profit of $587,884 on revenues of $5.24 million for the period of Dec. 21 to Jan. 31, according to its monthly operating report filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The company had cash of $2.97 million at Jan. 31.

Heartland, a Clinton, Conn.-based newspaper operator, filed for bankruptcy on Dec. 21. Its Chapter 11 case number is 09-14459.
