Moody's assigns AMC Networks notes Ba3
Moody's Investors Service said it assigned a Ba3 rating to AMC Networks Inc.'s planned $500 million of senior unsecured notes. The notes will be guaranteed on a senior unsecured basis by AMC's existing and future domestic restricted subsidiaries and will be subordinated to its senior secured credit facilities.
Proceeds will be used to redeem the company's 4¾% senior unsecured notes due 2022 and a portion of AMC’s 5% senior unsecured notes due 2024.
All other ratings, including the company's Ba2 corporate family rating, remain unchanged.
