HealthSouth makes $39.8 million interest payment to bondholders

Chicago, Oct. 2 - HealthSouth Corp. said made $39.8 million in semi-annual interest payments to its bondholders.

The amount represents all interest due and payable on Oct. 1. The Birmingham, Ala.-based healthcare provider said it presently intends to remain current on all upcoming interest payments.
