Amcast reports $2.688 million loss for December

New York, Jan 28 - Amcast Industrial Corp. reported a loss of $2.688 million for December, according to a filing Thursday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Ohio.

Revenues for the month were $13.506 million.

Amcast's operating loss was $1.145 million.

Cash and equivalents as of Dec. 26 were $6.323 million.

Amcast, a Dayton, Ohio, manufacturer of plumbing and auto components, filed for Chapter 11 on Nov. 30. Its case number is 04-40504.
