Fitch gives Health Care Service notes A-

Fitch Ratings said it assigned an A- rating to Health Care Service Corp.’s issuance of $2 billion of senior unsecured notes.

The rating assigned to the new senior notes is equivalent to the company’s A- rating, Fitch said.

Proceeds are expected to be used to pay down outstanding Federal Home Loan Bank borrowing and for general corporate purposes.
