Citi plans buffered notes tied to Health Care Select Sector SPDR fund

Tacoma, Wash., Jan. 24 – Citigroup Global Markets Holdings Inc. plans to price 0% buffered notes due Feb. 12, 2020 linked to the Health Care Select Sector SPDR fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The notes will be guaranteed by Citigroup Inc.

If the final share price is greater than the initial share price, the payout at maturity will be par plus 110% of the fund return, subject to a maximum return of 12.265%. Investors will receive par if the fund declines by 10% or less and will lose 1.1111% for every 1% that it declines beyond 10%.

Citigroup Global Markets Inc. is the underwriter.

The notes will price Jan. 25.

The Cusip number is 17326YPP5.
