New Issue: India's HDFC Bank sells Rs. 2 billion of perpetual tier I bonds

New York, Sept. 8 - HDFC Bank Ltd. said it sold Rs. 2 billion of perpetual tier I bonds via private placement.

The bonds are structured as non-convertible unsecured subordinated bonds.

HDFC Bank, based in Mumbai, India, is a private sector bank.
