HCR ManorCare gets interim access to cash collateral; hearing set

By Caroline Salls

Pittsburgh, March 6 – HCR ManorCare, Inc. obtained court approval to access the cash collateral of its pre-bankruptcy secured parties on an interim basis, according to an order filed Tuesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The final hearing is scheduled for April 6.

As previously reported, the company said it will use the cash collateral to pay the expenses of its Chapter 11 cases.

In addition, the court entered an order scheduling a combined hearing on confirmation of HCR ManorCare’s plan of reorganization and approval of the related disclosure statement for April 13.

HCR ManorCare is a Toledo, Ohio-based provider of short-term, post-acute services and long-term care. The company filed bankruptcy on March 4 under Chapter 11 case number 18-10467.
