HCC holders okay discontinuation of SEC filings

New York, Oct. 7 - HCC Industries Inc. (Caa3) said that on Sept. 25, bondholders representing a majority of the outstanding indebtedness under the company's 10¾% senior subordinated notes due 2007 consented to an indenture amendment eliminating the company's commitment to file periodic reports with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

HCC, a Rosemead, Calif.-based electronic components manufacturer, said that it therefore intends to cease such filings on the Edgar system immediately.

It also said that it intends to solicit the remaining bondholders for their consent to amend the indenture, consistent with the consents already received.
