Haynes and Boone's Parkins relocates to New York to co-head business restructuring, bankruptcy

By Devika Patel

Knoxville, Tenn., Oct. 9 - Haynes and Boone, LLP said Lenny Parkins, one of the firm's most senior partners in its business restructuring and bankruptcy section, has moved to the firm's New York office from Houston as part of a long-term expansion strategy.

Parkins, who has been splitting time between Houston and New York for the past two years, joins fellow senior partner Judy Elkin, who has led Haynes and Boone's bankruptcy practice in New York for the past three years. During that time, Elkin has represented a wide variety of corporate clients and financial institutions in high-profile Chapter 11 cases and out-of-court restructurings, according to a company news release.

Haynes and Boone is an international corporate law firm with offices in Texas, New York, Washington, D.C., Mexico City and Moscow.
