Hayes Lemmerz amends credit facility to ease covenants

New York, March 31 - Hayes Lemmerz International, Inc. said it amended its $625 million senior secured credit facility to ease some financial covenants.

"This amendment provides Hayes Lemmerz with additional financial flexibility as we continue to rationalize our manufacturing footprint, implement cost reduction initiatives, and capitalize on growth opportunities within our core businesses and in select geographic regions," said Curtis Clawson, president, chief executive officer and chairman, in a news release.

Hayes Lemmerz is a Northville, Mich., auto parts maker.
