Hawker Beechcraft to pay interest on 8 7/8%/9 5/8% PIK notes in cash

Tacoma, Wash., Sept. 30 - Hawker Beechcraft Acquisition Co., LLC and Hawker Beechcraft Notes Co. will pay cash for the interest payment due April 1, 2011 on their 8 7/8%/9 5/8% senior pay-in-kind election notes due 2015, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The company can choose to pay interest in cash, in kind or 50% in cash and 50% in kind for any interest payment period prior to April 1, 2011.

As previously reported, the company paid interest in kind for the period ended April 1 and will pay cash interest for the period ending Sept. 30.

Hawker Beechcraft is a Wichita, Kan., maker of business, general aviation, training and special mission aircraft.
