Hawker Beechcraft chooses pay-in-kind option for 8 7/8%/9 5/8% notes

Tacoma, Wash., Sept. 28 - Hawker Beechcraft Acquisition Co., LLC said the April 1, 2010 interest payment on its 8 7/8%/9 5/8% senior pay-in-kind election notes due 2015 will be paid in kind.

The company may elect to pay interest in kind for any interest payment period prior to April 1, 2011, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

As previously reported, the Oct. 1 interest payment will be made in kind.

Hawker Beechcraft is a Wichita, Kan., maker of business and general aviation, training and special mission aircraft.
