Fitch affirms Hatton National

Fitch Ratings said it affirmed Hatton National Bank plc's national long-term rating at AA-(lka), along with its subordinated debentures at A+(lka).

The outlook is stable.

The ratings reflect the bank's sound financial profile, supported by robust capitalization, asset quality and profitability among local commercial banks, Fitch said.

The ratings are constrained by its loan concentrations to related parties, geographic concentrations in Maldives and increasing loan/deposit ratios, the agency said.
