Hartford Emerging Markets Local Debt Fund drops Adrogue as manager

By Toni Weeks

San Luis Obispo, Calif., April 3 - Hartford Mutual Funds, Inc. said that Ricardo Adrogue will no longer be a portfolio manager of the Hartford Emerging Markets Local Debt Fund, according to a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The change is effective April 12. James W. Valone and Tieu-Bich Nguyen will remain as portfolio managers to the fund.

The fund seeks capital appreciation and income by investing at least 80% of its net assets in local currency-denominated emerging markets debt securities and forwards as well as other derivative instruments that provide market exposure to such securities.

Simsbury, Conn.-based Hartford Funds Management Co, LLC is the investment manager to the fund.
