Harris County, Texas, to sell $375 million of tax anticipation notes

New York, May 31 - Harris County, Texas, is set to price $375 million of series 2012 tax anticipation notes on June 12, according to a notice of sale.

The notes will be sold on a competitive basis with First Southwest Co. as the financial adviser.

The notes are due Feb. 28, 2013.

Proceeds will be used to fund county expenses ahead of ad valorem taxes to be collected in the latter half of the 2012-13 fiscal year.
