Moody's rates Harris County tax notes MIG1

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned a MIG1 rating to Harris County, Texas' $395 million series 2008 tax anticipation notes.

The county regularly issues TANs to bridge the mismatch between an evenly distributed expenditure budget and unevenly distributed revenue collection.
