Harman International Industries files automatic shelf registration

Knoxville, Tenn., June 15 - Harman International Industries, Inc. filed an automatic shelf registration in an S-3 ASR filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The registration covers common stock, preferred stock, debt securities and warrants.

The securities may be structured as convertibles.

The company will describe in a prospectus supplement how it intends to use the proceeds.

Harman is a Washington manufacturer of high-fidelity audio products and electronic systems for the automotive, consumer and professional markets.
