Amazon plans fixed-rate notes in seven parts via three bookrunners

Knoxville, Tenn., April 11 – Amazon.com, Inc. intends to sell fixed-rate senior notes in seven tranches, according to a 424B5 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes will have make-whole calls and then par calls.
Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, J.P. Morgan Securities LLC and Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC are the bookrunners.
Computershare Trust Co., NA is the trustee.
Counsel to the issuer regarding the validity of the notes is Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, and counsel to the underwriters is Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP.
Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.
Amazon.com is an online commerce company based in Seattle.
