Taiwan's HannStar plans to sell NT$2.5 billion of two-year bonds

New York, May 15 - HannStar Display Corp. said it plans to issue up to NT$2.5 billion of two-year unsecured bonds through a private placement.

Proceeds will be used for working capital and to improve the company's financial structure.

The issuer is a manufacturer of large-size TFT-LCD panels for desktop monitors and notebook computers.
