New Issue: Hanmi Financial to sell $11.02 million of stock via a private placement

Knoxville, Tenn., June 15 - Hanmi Financial Corp. arranged an $11.02 million private placement of stock on June 12, according to an 8-K filed Monday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The company will sell a total of 8,040,882 common shares at $1.37 apiece to Leading Investment & Securities Co., Ltd., with 5,046,118 shares sold initially and the remaining 2,994,764 shares sold in a later tranche.
The initial tranche is expected to settle on July 31.
Based in Los Angeles, Hanmi Financial is the holding company for Hanmi Bank, a state-chartered bank.
