Kazakhstan’s Halyk Bank to prepay 5½% notes due 2022 on March 1

Los Angeles, Jan. 27 – JSC Halyk Bank gave notice that it will make a full prepayment of its 5½% notes due 2022 (ISIN: XS0867478124, XS0867573890) in the amount of $248,012,457.

The notes will be redeemed on March 1.

The issuer will also pay accrued interest.

The Almaty, Kazakhstan-based bank originally issued $750 million of the notes.
