Barclays plans five-year trigger autocallables linked to Halliburton

Chicago, Oct. 9 - Barclays Bank plc plans to price trigger autocallable yield optimization notes due Oct. 17, 2018 linked to Halliburton Co. shares, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The notes will be called at par plus an annualized premium of 9% if Halliburton closes above its initial share price on any quarterly observation date.
The payout at maturity will be par unless Halliburton stock finishes below its 59% to 65% trigger level, in which case investors will be fully exposed to any losses. The exact trigger level will be set at pricing.
UBS Financial Services Inc. and Barclays are the underwriters.
The notes will price on Oct. 11 and settle on Oct. 17.
The Cusip number is 06742E810.
