Halex Energy prices $3 million initial public sale of stock at $0.50

Company to sell 6 million common shares on a self-underwritten basis

Knoxville, Tenn., Jan. 10 - Halex Energy Corp. priced a $3 million initial public offering of stock in a Form S-1 filed Thursday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The company will sell 6 million common shares at $0.50 apiece on a self-underwritten basis.

Proceeds will be used for development and operation of the company's power plants.

The renewable energy company is based in Reno, Nev.
