Guggenheim Defined Portfolios Series 835 registers Zacks Income units

San Diego, Nov. 16 - Guggenheim Defined Portfolios, Series 835 has registered units of its Zacks Income Advantage Strategy Portfolio, Series 15, according to an S-6 amendment filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The depositor is Lisle, Ill.-based Guggenheim Funds Distributors, Inc.

The trust seeks to provide current income with the potential for capital appreciation. Its portfolio was selected using the Zacks Income Advantage Strategy and includes common shares of closed-end investment companies (10%), common stocks/American Depositary Receipts (30%), master limited partnerships (17.5%), real estate investment trusts (20%) and stocks of oil/energy-related companies or companies created to hold investments in operating companies or their cash flows (22.5%).

On the Nov. 15 inception date, $149,642 of sponsor's contracts to purchase underlying securities comprised the trust. The 15,115 units have a public offering price of $10.00 and a net asset value of $9.632 per unit.

The units will carry a sales charge of 2.95%, consisting of a 1% initial sales fee, a 1.45% deferred sales fee and a 0.5% creation and development fee. Sales charge reductions of up to 1.5% of the offering price will be available on a scale based on the amount of investment.

The trust's termination date is Feb. 15, 2013.
