New Issue: Guatemala prices $700 million 5¾% notes due 2022 to yield 5 7/8%

Atlanta, May 29 - Guatemala priced a $700 million issue of 5¾% notes due June 6, 2022 (Ba1/BB/BB+) at 99.065 to yield 5 7/8%, or Treasuries plus 414.5 basis points, a market source said.

Deutsche Bank was the bookrunner for the Rule 144A and Regulation S transaction.

Proceeds will be used for debt refinancing and general budgetary needs.
