India’s GTL board to mull shareholder meeting on debt restructuring

Columbus, Ohio, Feb. 3 – GTL Infrastructure Ltd. said its board of directors will meet on Wednesday to consider convening an extraordinary general meeting of the company for shareholders to vote on a company debt restructuring, including a restructuring of its foreign currency convertible bonds, according to a Bombay Stock Exchange notice.

The board recommended a strategic debt restructuring scheme on Dec. 19.

Mumbai-based GTL Infrastructure provides telecom infrastructure to multiple service providers.
