GT Advanced sees $7.38 million operating income for Jan. 1 to Feb. 6

Pittsburgh, Feb. 29 – GT Advanced Technologies, Inc. showed $7.38 million of income from operations for the period of Jan. 1 through Feb. 6 on $16.93 million in revenue, according to its monthly operating report filed Monday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Hampshire.

In comparison, the company posted $1.85 million of income from operations for the period of Nov. 29 through Dec. 31 on $32.2 million in revenue.

GT’s net income for the January period was $4.83 million, compared with a $10.34 million net loss for the December period.

The company also had $46.14 million in cash and cash equivalents as of Feb. 6, down from $52.38 million at Dec. 31.

Merrimack, N.H.-based GT Advanced Technologies is a provider of equipment and services that support the growth of the solar and LED industries. The company filed for bankruptcy on Oct. 6, 2014 under Chapter 11 case number 14-11916.
