GT Advanced sees $4.59 million loss for Aug. 2 to Aug. 29 period

Bethlehem, Pa., Oct. 1 – GT Advanced Technologies, Inc. showed a $4.59 million loss from operations for the period of Aug. 2 to Aug. 29 on $2.57 million in revenue, according to its monthly operating report filed Wednesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Hampshire.

For July, the company showed a $5.77 million loss from operations on $999,000 in revenue.

GT’s net loss for the August period was $8.93 million, down from a net loss of $15.1 million for the July period.

The company had $118.89 million in cash and cash equivalents as of Aug. 29, down from $126 million at Aug. 1.

Merrimack, N.H.-based GT Advanced Technologies is a provider of equipment and services that support the growth of the solar and LED industries. The company filed for bankruptcy on Oct. 6, 2014 under Chapter 11 case number 14-11916.
