GT Advanced reports $5.77 million loss for June 28 to Aug. 1 period

Bethlehem, Pa., Sept. 1 – GT Advanced Technologies, Inc. showed a $5.77 million loss from operations for the period of June 28 through Aug. 1 on $999,000 in revenue, according to its monthly operating report filed Monday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Hampshire.

For June, the company showed an $88,000 loss from operations on $3.65 million in revenue.

GT’s net loss for the July period was $15.1 million, up from a net loss of $6.47 million for the June period.

The company had $126 million in cash and cash equivalents as of Aug. 1, up from $46.08 million at June 27.

Merrimack, N.H.-based GT Advanced Technologies is a provider of equipment and services that support the growth of the solar and LED industries. The company filed for bankruptcy on Oct. 6, 2014 under Chapter 11 case number 14-11916.
